Michele Insley — Founder & Lead Instructor

Michele Insley founded Red River Beach Yoga with a simple conviction: that yoga is for everyone, and that nature is the finest studio there is. A certified Kripalu yoga instructor, Michele has been teaching on Cape Cod for years, growing what began as seasonal beach classes into a thriving, multi-teacher community offering year-round programming.

Her teaching is known for its warmth, humor, and deep accessibility. Michele believes that every body deserves to feel at home in yoga, and she brings that belief to every class she teaches and every teacher she mentors.

Beyond the studio, Michele is a dedicated supporter of the Lupus Foundation of America and a working studio artist specializing in handcrafted jewelry.

Erin O'Sullivan — Instructor

Erin O'Sullivan's yoga journey began right here at Red River Beach — at age ten, taking classes with Michele. More than a decade later, she's honored to return as part of this team, and her story is a living testament to what this community builds.

Erin is a senior at Salve Regina University studying Early Childhood and Special Education, where she serves as Vice President of the Salve Yoga Club. Certified in both Yoga and Energy Healing, her classes are rooted in presence, joy, and the unwavering belief that yoga is for everyone.

Nancy K Diamond — Instructor

Nancy Diamond is an artist and yoga instructor who divides her time between Cape Cod and the Hudson Valley in New York. As both an artist and a yogi, Nancy is drawn to the deep alignment of mind, body, and spirit that both practices offer. In her classes, she guides students toward presence and serenity — not as a destination, but as a practice cultivated breath by breath. Nancy thrives in sharing these tools and passions with others.

Julia Rugo — Instructor

Julia Rugo has been practicing yoga for ten years and teaching for seven. A year-round Cape Cod resident who grew up in Barnstable, Julia brings deep roots in this community to everything she does. Her teaching weaves together yoga, self-expression, energy and sound healing — a holistic approach grounded in the belief that inner fulfillment ripples outward into our relationships, our communities, and the world. Julia is passionate about helping students find that spark within themselves.

Lorraine Kermond — Instructor

Lorraine Kermond is a 200-hour RYT certified through the Kripalu School of Yoga. Her mission is to create a welcoming and empowering space where people of all backgrounds and body types can embrace health, happiness, and wellness through yoga. For the past 18 years, her practice has centered on building strength while connecting breath, movement, and mind. She believes yoga is a powerful tool for cultivating balance, resilience, clarity, and overall well-being in daily life.
